Internet Map Servers

MSDIS is responsible for the design and maintenance of several internet map servers. The following links will open in new windows.

Internet Map Servers are web mapping applications which enables users who may not be familiar with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to view and interact with geo-spatial data.

The map servers administered by MSDIS utilize ArcIMS software from ESRI . The msdis-mapper currently publishes a range of data from the MSDIS holdings and also provides map layers for the National Map.
